Helping children make sense of big feelings without shame, pressure or labels.
Some children feel everything deeply. The worry. The frustration. The tears that seem to come from nowhere. The shutdowns.
The moments when they want to explain what is happening, but the words will not come.
And as a parent, you can feel it too.
From raising a child with big feelings.
From seeing that children do not always need more pressure, more correction or more explanations.
They need space. They need language. They need tools they can actually use.
And they need to feel safe enough to understand what is happening inside.
Big feelings are information. They tell us something is happening beneath the surface.
But when children do not have a way to understand those feelings, they can come out as tears, anger, silence, avoidance or overwhelm.
That does not mean something is wrong with them. It means they need a way to notice, name and move through what they feel.
The A School creates simple, creative resources that help children understand big feelings, build emotional awareness and take their next step with more self-trust.

When a child is in a big feeling, it can be hard to know where to begin.
Sometimes the first step is not a lecture. It is a question. A drawing. A pause. A tool.
A moment where your child realises: What I feel makes sense. And there is something I can do next.
It is the simplest way to start helping your child understand big feelings and take one confident next step.
